How the hell did you warm and all-clad?

Additional awesomeness - a Mothers headlight renewal kit does a fine job of getting the inside of the pan smoothed out nicely, which reduces the likelihood that foods will stick .

I may need to do this with a teflon pan, now that you mention it.

I think what you’re asking here is “H ow did you warp an All-Clad?” and the answer is probably by taking it off the stove and putting it in the sink before it cooled sufficiently.
I’d likely have never noticed except that we have one of those stupid glass cooktops. I miss having a gas stove .

Yes, that was the intended question.
God, I love my gas stove. It was a soft requirement when we moved. It we ever move again it will be a deal breaker.

You could have saved yourself $180 and a warping pan by just buying an old cast iron pa n at a thrift store. Made a quiche in one of mine the other night.

I have an old cast iron pan too. The All-Clad pan was a wedding gift many years ago. It’s a great pan and I reckon that now that I’ve whacked it back into shape it’s got a LEAST another 50 years in it.
